In collaboration with West Japan Glass Recycle Center Corp., Zeolite Co., Ltd., Sanix Inc., Mihama Corp., and the Water Supply Promotion Foundation, we have been awarded the Kitakyushu City Environmental Future Grant for Fiscal Year 2024. Natural sand used in sand filters is facing a crisis of depletion. This research and development project aims to develop an alternative filter media using recycled glass cullet from surplus “colored glass bottles” and other sources as raw materials.
